The Story Behind AgroLend
AgroLend is an initiative started by 14-year-old Saharsh Marri in 2023. This initiative was created to solve a critical problem within the farming community: the lack of financial literacy and access to information about better loan options. Many farmers struggle to navigate the complex financial landscape, often settling for unfavorable terms simply due to lack of awareness about available alternatives..

To make farmers' lives easier
Our mission is to empower farmers across rural India through an AI-powered information portal that improves financial literacy and access to better loan options. We bridge the information gap in agricultural finance, helping farming communities make informed decisions about their financial futures. Having already impacted 100+ farmers and presented our work at the UN 1M1B Youth Activate Impact Summit, we're committed to expanding our reach to more communities. You can donate to us here we would greatly appreciate any support as it would accelerate our mission to transform financial access for thousands more farmers.
